Good food and great prices. Attentive staff. We ordered the ceviche, seafood soup and grill fish.... all good.
We ordered takeout through Door Dash and got the party pack. For a family of five, you really can't beat the price and quality of this place. I'm so sick of spending $100 on food my kids won't eat or run through and are still hungry. It's so nice to be able to order the party packs as well as food by the lb. I've also eaten here in person and have enjoyed the seafood soup and whole fried tilapia. Thanks Connie's, we love you!

When I lived in Houston, Connie's was my go-to place for amazing seafood soup. Compared to the higher-end restaurants, this place is comparable in quality and of course , way better in terms of value. You can expect to spend 25-50% more at Pappadaux or Pappas any day! Service can be spotty, depending on if you go during their HH or inbetween meal times. Ambiance can be described as casual and well, sometimes quite festive. I would certainly advise against taking a first date to Connie's. Not because it's cheap, but because it's too loud. Go for the food, don't necessarily stay for the ambiance!
Yum yum yum clean fresh delicious Mexican seafood with that Houston Chinese twist. Love grilled bass with grilled gulf shrimp comes with fried rice and salad. Love the fish filet poached in garlic butter served with shrimp fried rice and salad. Ask for chopped jalapeños and dump that in the butter sauce. Yum! Crazy ceviche tostada with a dash of mayonnaise (!) and so yummy. Great service. Great prices. Security in parking lot. All good
Love this super casual dining place. They have plenty of parking. Servers are nice. The drinks are good and cheap! My friends and I (total of 5 of us) shared the family pack and ordered 2 extra rolls. This was plenty of food and even took some to go. If I ever want something cheap, fast, casual, with great food this is where I would go!
I really enjoy the whole fried snapper. It comes with choice of two sides. Usually I do the rice and salad but I'm trying to cut my carbs . I have ordered here at least 3 times on Uber Eats. Most of the time I would say you get a good sized snapper with this order. The coating is nice and crispy and juicy fish on inside. Our most recent order, however, the fish was a little small and fried too hard. But for the most part, they have a good record with me. FYI: if the fish isn't sticking out of the box like these here, it too small!
